The Siberian Scientific Medical Journal was established in 1981.
The titles of the journal were:
- from 1981 to 1991 – Bulletin of Siberian Branch of Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR;
- from 1992 to 2014 – Bulletin of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences;
- from 2015 - Siberian Scientific Medical Journal.
