Отсутствуют данные о состоянии системы VEGF у больных с совместным течением немышечно-инвазивной формы РМП (НМИРМП) и СД2.</p><p>   Целью данного исследования явилось изучение особенностей содержания компонентов системы VEGF в крови и ткани опухоли при НМИРМП у пациентов с СД2.</p><sec><title>   Материал и методы</title><p>   Материал и методы. Содержание компонентов системы VEGF определяли методом ИФА в крови пациентов с РМП на фоне СД2 (основная группа, 8 мужчин и 3 женщины), больных РМП (контрольная группа, 6 мужчин и 5 женщин), больных СД 2 (группа сравнения, 4 мужчины и 4 женщины) и сопоставимых по возрасту доноров без онкологических заболеваний и СД2 (норма, 5 мужчин и 6 женщин), а также в гомогенатах опухолевой такни.</p></sec><sec><title>   Результаты</title><p>   Результаты. При РМП концентрация VEGF-А и VEGF-С в крови не отличалась от уровня в группе доноров. При СД2 только содержание VEGF-С превышало соответствующее значение в группе доноров. У всех мужчин основной группы концентрация VEGF-С была в 2,7 раза меньше, чем у пациентов из группы сравнения, а у женщин – напротив, в 2,5 раза больше. Содержание sVEGF-R3 в крови превышало норму только у больных основной группы. В ткани опухоли отсутствовали различия в содержании VEGF-A, VEGF-С, sVEGF-R1и sVEGF-R3 между больными РМП обеих групп, но пациенты с сочетанием патологий имели более низкий уровень sVEGF-R2.</p></sec><sec><title>   Заключение</title><p>   Заключение. При сочетании РМП и СД2 прослеживается усиление вовлеченности системы VEGF в течение онкологического заболевания, при этом у всех пациентов на первый план выступают изменения, связанные с компонентами, которые отвечают за лимфангиогенез.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   The components of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) system are involved in the pathogenesis of bladder cancer (BC) and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). However, data regarding the state of the VEGF system in patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and concurrent T2DM are lacking.</p><p>   The aim of the study was to investigate the characteristics of the content of VEGF system components in the blood and tumor tissue in NMIBC in patients with T2DM.</p><sec><title>   Material and methods</title><p>   Material and methods. VEGF component level was measured using ELISA in the blood of patients with both BC and type T2DM (main group, 8 men, 3 women), patients with BC without T2DM (control group, 6 men, 5 women), patients with T2DM without BC (comparison group, 4 men, 4 women), and age-matched healthy donors (norm, 5 men, 6 women), and in homogenates of tumor tissue.</p></sec><sec><title>   Results</title><p>   Results. In BC, VEGF-A and VEGF-C concentrations were similar to those in the donor group. In T2DM, only VEGF-C content was elevated. VEGF-C concentration in men of the main group was lower than in the comparison group, whereas in women – was higher. Circulating sVEGF-R3 content exceeded the norm only in the main group. In tumor tissue, there were no significant differences in VEGF-A, VEGF-C, sVEGF-R1, or sVEGF-R3 level between BC patients with or without T2DM.
